Young Adult Internship

Residential Interns work for an extended amount of time (minimum of 3 months) in a specific Mountain department in order to gain professional skills related to their career goals. Interns also actively engage with the larger Mountain Community of paid and unpaid staff, Young Adult Residents, Work Study Participants and program guests (as appropriate and possible). The goal is for Interns to leave The Mountain with concrete skills, and knowledge of non-profit work. Like other Residency Program Participants, Interns have the opportunity to foster a lifelong thirst for greater awareness, and a belief that they have the capacity and responsibility to work with others to bring peace-building, meaning, social justice, and environmental ethics to the center of their communities.
