The Mountain offers programs for all ages — from youth camp to leadership training for adults and youth and intergenerational programs that families can enjoy together.  In addition,The Mountain hosts gatherings, meetings and events for a variety of groups and organizations. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains at an elevation of 4200 feet, the inspiring view from our mountaintop is the perfect background for your gathering! 

The Mountain is capable of hosting multiple groups at the same time. If you're interested in bringing a group and want to check on the availability of certain dates, please call (828) 526-5838 ext 250 or e-mail sales@mountaincenters.org. Ask about our great weekday rates!

 Make The Mountain your Ski Lodge destination for this 3-night holiday weekend for Presidents Day and Valentines Day.  Ages 8-11-A Youth CONference is a gathering of youth from congregations all over the southeast (and sometimes beyond!) for a weekend program filled with a variety of workshops, activities, good food, a safe environment and warm, cozy cabins.  This Spring youth will explore the theme of "CONservation" through the environment, consumerism and themselves.

Ontario Cycling Association

 Riders and coaches will base at The Mountain for the Blue Ridge Mountain Ride bringing 40 cyclists to train and enjoy the scenery. For more information about the organization, see their website HERE. Registration is through the Conference Coordinators.

Mountain Work Weekend

 Your opportunity to make a difference for The Mountain. Leave a legacy. Have fun productively. As always, The Mountain needs your help. Join friends - bring a group - help care for this wonderful place that means so much to so many. See the poster HERE

Participants should be at least 14 years of age (minors accompanied by an adult) The weekend price of $70.00 covers meals - lodging is provided at no charge in exchange for your labor. The weekend concludes with an Easter Feast at noon on Sunday. Include the entire family by registering non-workers for Easter in the Oaks. To register online, click HERE.

Easter in the Oaks

 An opportunity for families to enjoy traditional Easter traditions in fellowship with members of the larger Mounter famly. Children can choose to create their own eggs in the coloring and decorating workshop, and build their own Easter Basket with a few surprises left to the Easter Bunny. Other activities include the Easter egg hunt, and a special Easter Worship Service, perhaps at sunrise. The weekend concludes with an Easter Feast at noon. For families with adults & children ages 14-99 seeking a work opportunity with discounts on room & board, consider the Work Weekend for those wanting to work and still be together for Easter at The Mountain with family members.  Registration will open in January, 2015 for this innovative weekend Exploration for youth in a safe environment. Homecoming - Memorial Day Weekend - Annual Meeting

 Also known as Members Weekend, this traditional Mountain Program welcomes all "Comers" to celebrate our progress with The Annual Report to Members on Saturday afternoon, along with 3-days of entertaining programs for the whole family. Special "Family Friendly" prices for Youth ages 12-17 $96.00; younger children FREE! The Mountain Board of Trustees will gather for the Spring Quarterly Board Meeting. There is no cost to attend the Annual Meeting, and meals can be arranged with a phone call.

The second year of Appalachian Spring brings back even more amazing programing!

-Keynote Presenter Barry Whittlemore from North GA University will delve into the History of Appalachia.

-Long time Mountain lovers, the Harouffs, will add their music and Blue Ridge experiences.

-Hikes, "Pickin and grinin'", off site learning experiences, and evening entertainment will make this an experience to remember!
