Corporate Matching Gifts

There are an increasing number of corporations which will match at some level, gifts to nonprofits made by their employees (active or retired). Ask your company or organization for an application and give The Mountain an opportunity to qualify. Often such a match doubles the impact of your gift.

Planned/Deferred Gifts

Today, more than ever, people are planning ahead for their charitable giving through a number of planned or deferred giving vehicles. The options are many including but not limited to wills and codicils, life insurance beneficiaries, charitable reminder trusts, etc. Some of these options provide income during one’s lifetime with the assets of the trust passing to the named beneficiary upon the donor’s death.

The Mountain Endowment Fund

Incorporated in 1996, the Endowment Fund’s purpose is “to provide ongoing financial support for The Mountain Retreat & Learning Centers, Inc.”  While operating independently of The Mountain, the Endowment Board of Directors is committed to enhancing the current and long-term financial viability of The Mountain.  Click here for The Mountain Endowment Fund Board Roster.
